Art Collected

The gallery wall. It's kind of the ultimate signifier of a home owner's style. A way of saying "I live here, this is so me". We see them all the time on pinterest. But what about in your friends' homes? Maybe a little harder to come by. Because, for one thing, an art collection takes time (and some money) to curate. And two, a good gallery wall is friggin' hard to pull off. But worth it when you do.

Gallery walls add dimension and texture to a room. They allow you to showcase your style through many pieces as opposed to just one. Just be sure that what you're collecting and showcasing is representative of you. And have fun with it. Seriously. The stuffy art collections always come off as, well, stuffy.

New & Now

J.Crew just listed the blue button front linen dress that I bought over the weekend and wore to the wedding!! This picture below is funny because my gal friends (Jenn, Ashley, and Anna) and I all randomly wore the same blue.

I'm pretty obsessed with the dress, it's a flattering silhouette. Wear it with flats, heels, or wedges! I love the hydrangea pink version, too.

What I'm Wearing: Baubles & Blue

When Grace from BaubleBar (and one of my favorite blogs Stripes & Sequins) asked me to be a part of this month's BaubleBar "Standout Style" feature I was all over it. I love pretty much everything that BaubleBar rolls out. But this particular Glam Garden Necklace that I got to style is hea-ven. And it's only $36! I've already worn it a million times as it magically goes with pretty much everything. Case in point, seen here with my favorite summer maxi dress, the Caraiva dress.

This is definitely too much info, but this dress is like the only piece of clothing that I own where I don't have to wear a bra (can you totally tell?). That is such a freeing feeling in warm weather. Don't you all side eye me and act like you don't know what I'm talking about. So I kinda wish I had it in the white and orange colors, too.

And the Jack Rogers sandal... I honestly have a love/hate relationship with these shoes. They're adorable, really comfy, durable, and go with everything. Which leads me the hate part - they're pretty much a summer staple for every girl I know. Oh well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
